Evergreen CU Grows in Scarborough
Evergreen Credit Union’s newest location in Scarborough is now open to the public at 617 U.S. Route 1.
The Scarborough branch team can discuss Evergreen’s various savings, checking and loan options with members, and process Shared Branching transactions with members from other credit unions. “Being able to serve the Scarborough area means a lot to us,” said Jason Lindstrom, Evergreen Credit Union’s President/CEO. “Scarborough has welcomed us with open arms, and we’re excited to show our appreciation to the community.”
With Evergreen’s community-driven mission, their staff is more than ready to start connecting with Scarborough. “Our commitment to the community extends beyond financial services,” said Jeanna Coates, Community Engagement Manager at Evergreen Credit Union. “We’re proud of the many partnerships we’ve established in Southern Maine. We’re eager to share more about our branch with the wider Scarborough population."
Several Evergreen Credit Union team members, Community Partners, and vendors celebrated the branch’s grand opening alongside many Scarborough town officials this spring. “We’re grateful that we had a small crowd there to cheer us on as we opened the doors,” said Lindstrom.
